German-born of Ghanaian parentage, Ragnar Ache was on the scoresheet again as FC Köln played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Borussia Mönchengladbach in their Bundesliga round 27 clash at the RheinEnergie Stadion on Saturday, March 21.
The game was really an entertaining one with three of the six goals produced, coming in just ten minutes from kickoff.
Ache found the net in the 7th minute, adding to an early goal from Said El Mala, who had opened the scoring in the 4th minute, before Eric Martel struck late in the 84th minute to ensure Köln earned a share of the spoils.
The visitors responded strongly, with Jens Castrop scoring just a minute into the game before completing his brace in the 60th minute, while Philipp Sander also got on the scoresheet in an entertaining contest.
Ache’s goal continues his fine form this season, taking his tally to six goals and three assists in 26 appearances for Köln in the current campaign.
Köln will now shift focus to their next fixture after the international break, where they travel to face Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, April 5
