Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has delivered a passionate message to his players as Ghana intensifies preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, urging the team to remain disciplined, focused and united ahead of the tournament.

In a statement shared on Friday, Queiroz emphasized the importance of sacrifice, commitment and attention to detail with just 40 days remaining before the World Cup kicks off.

“40 days to honour the pride, passion, and dreams of Ghana. Absolute focus. Maximum discipline. Total sacrifice. No distractions. No excuses,” the coach stated.

The experienced tactician also challenged the players to believe in their abilities and work together both on and off the pitch to achieve success at the global tournament.

Queiroz stressed that greatness would only come through teamwork, discipline and relentless execution, as Ghana aims to make a strong impact on football’s biggest stage later this year.
