Global lifestyle and wellness company QNET has welcomed the conviction of three individuals by the Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court for fraud and adoption-related offences, and has commended Ghanaian law enforcement agencies for their continued efforts in dismantling criminal networks misusing the company’s name.

On January 7, 2026, the Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court sentenced the three individuals to 24 months’ imprisonment following investigations and prosecution by the Central East Regional Police Intelligence Directorate of the Ghana Police Service. The convicted persons were found to have deliberately misused and misrepresented the QNET name to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

Commenting on the judgment, Biram Fall, Deputy Chairman for QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, stated:

“This conviction sends a strong warning to individuals who misuse and misrepresent the name and products of QNET in Ghana. These criminals deliberately deceive innocent people and cause disaffection for our brand. We are grateful to the Ghana Police Service for their professionalism. The message is getting clearer and louder — QNET’s name will not be used as a decoy to propagate unlawful and fraudulent activities.”

Response to Recent Police Rescue Operation in the Volta Region

QNET has also taken note of media reports regarding a recent operation by the Police

Intelligence Directorate (PID) in Ho, Volta Region, which led to the rescue of forty-seven

    (47) individuals from an alleged fraudulent network operating under the name “QNET.”

The company expresses deep concern over the distressing circumstances described in the reports and extends its heartfelt sympathy to all victims rescued during the operation and their families.

QNET categorically condemns the actions attributed to the perpetrators and unequivocally dissociates itself from the alleged activities. The company clarifies that:

    ● The operation described was not organised, authorised, or endorsed by QNET.

    ● The individuals involved fraudulently misused the QNET name and brand, acting entirely outside QNET’s regulated and compliant business framework.

    ● QNET does not engage in human trafficking, job-for-money schemes, visa or travel services, overseas employment placements, or investment scams. Any such claims made in QNET’s name are criminal and false.

    ● QNET maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward misuse of its name or brand and fully supports law enforcement efforts to investigate, dismantle, and prosecute criminal networks responsible for such acts.

Commitment to Compliance, Enforcement, and Public Education

QNET operates a legitimate direct selling business model, empowering individuals to promote its products transparently and ethically. Any form of deception or exploitation is strictly prohibited under QNET’s Code of Conduct for Independent Distributors.

The company continues to take proactive enforcement steps, including disciplinary actions and referrals for prosecution against independent distributors found to have violated its code. In 2024 alone, QNET took 298 disciplinary actions, and in 2025, the company lodged 35 official complaints with authorities.

To further strengthen efforts against fraud, in July 2025, QNET announced a formal collaboration with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to dismantle criminal networks misusing the company’s name. This partnership includes intelligence sharing, compliance coordination, and joint enforcement actions across Ghana and West Africa.

In November 2025, QNET and EOCO commenced a national media and public education roadshow, beginning in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, to educate the public on identifying and avoiding scams involving fake job offers, visa schemes, and illegal migration rackets falsely linked to QNET.

    Recent joint enforcement outcomes include:

    ● Kasoa, Central Region: Arrest of six suspects and rescue of 24 victims.

    ● Kumasi, Ashanti Region: Rescue of 295 victims and arrest of 25 suspects.

QNET’s “QNET Against Scams” campaign continues to play a central role in public education, warning against fraudulent job and investment schemes exploiting the company’s identity.

In addition, QNET provided critical intelligence to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), which led to the arrest and prosecution of six individuals involved in a trafficking syndicate.

The offenders pleaded guilty and received custodial sentences, financial penalties, and deportation orders for foreign nationals upon completion of their sentences.

    Public Advisory

Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant and verify any opportunity claiming affiliation with QNET through the company’s official channels:

    ● WhatsApp (Compliance Hotline): +233 2566 30005

    ● Email: network.integrity@qnet.net

    ● Website: www.qnet.net

Any offer involving jobs, visas, travel, overseas employment, or investment schemes in exchange for money is not associated with QNET and should be reported immediately.

Suspected scams or criminal activity may also be reported to EOCO by visiting any EOCO office nationwide or via:

    ● Email: eoco@eoco.gov.gh

    ● WhatsApp: +233 579 709 066

    ● Telephone: +233 0547 419 419

QNET reaffirms its commitment to ethical business practices, consumer protection, and sustained collaboration with law enforcement to protect the public.
