An influencer and property investor is lucky to be alive after his $1million Ferrari was split in half when he crashed into a tree.

Gold Coast developer Sam Gordon walked away with just minor injuries after his red SF90 Spider was torn in two following the crash on Rio Vista Boulevard at Mermaid Waters, on Saturday morning.

Mr Gordon, who has gone viral over his sprawling property portfolio of about 150 properties, shared a video update online later on Saturday, thanking those who had reached out.

‘I just want to let everyone know I am all good, I’m all sweet,’ he said.

‘Massive shout out to Ferrari for building a crazy car that protects the driver first in an accident.’

Shocking photos of the wreck show the supercar completely unrecognisable, with the back half destroyed, and the front windshield dented.

Mr Gordon bought the Ferrari in May last year, and described it as his ‘dream car’.

He has owned other luxury vehicles, such as Lamborghinis.

The SF90 Spider can range in price in Australia from $960,000 to $1.7million.
