    Viktoria Plzen forward Prince Adu Kwabena has said that he is determined to earn a place in the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

    The former Bechem United star made his debut for Ghana on Friday, November 14, coming on as a second half substitute in a 2-0 defeat to Japan at the Toyota Stadium.

    Prince Adu Kwabena also started in Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to South Korea on Monday, November 14, 2025, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

    Reacting to his debut in the national team, the 22-year-old attacker vowed to fight for a place in the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    “From now till the commencement of the World Cup, I will work very hard and prove my worth to the coach.”

    “I need justify my call up into the national team. I’m working tirelessly to achieve my dream of representing Ghana at the World Cup” he told Ghana FA’s media.
