Prez Mahama urges Ghanaians to support Black Stars and stop online abuse

President John Mahama has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars and support the team as they represent the country.

The President reminded citizens that the Black Stars belong to all Ghanaians and should not be viewed through political or ethnic lenses.

He said the team is a symbol of national pride and unity, and every Ghanaian must stand with them.

President Mahama urged the public to allow the technical and management team to do their work without unnecessary interference.

He noted that although “there are 33 million coaches in Ghana,” it is important for everyone to let the appointed coaches handle the team’s affairs.

He also cautioned against the growing trend of insults and harsh criticism directed at players, especially on social media.

According to him, such negative comments can hurt the players’ confidence and affect their mental health.

The President encouraged Ghanaians to remain positive, avoid divisive remarks, and continue supporting the team through every challenge.
