The press conference of Teiken Promotions’ world title tripleheader took place on Monday in Tokyo, Japan. The deluxe card is as follows:

    WBA bantamweight unification bout

Seiya Tsutsumi (regular champion) vs. Nonito Donaire (interim champion)

WBA, WBO light flyweight unification title bout

Kyosuke Takami (WBA champion) vs. Rene Santiago (WBO champion)

    WBO flyweight title bout

Anthony Olascuaga (champion) vs. Taku Kuwahara (#4 contender)

All of them confidently expressed high motivation to win in best shape, as follows:

Tsutsumi: Even if I get knocked down by Donaire, I’ll knock him down back to be finally victorious.

Donaire: I respect Tsutsumi and look forward to exchange gloves with him.

Takami: I’ll win back the WBO belt that my stablemate Shokichi Iwata lost to Santiago—back to Teiken Gym.

Santiago: He says he’ll knock me out in four rounds, but that’s not easy to do that as I’ll beat him.

Olascuaga: I’m in tip-top shape. I’ll show my strength and finest shape.

Kuwahara: I’m in my very best condition and am highly motivated to win the belt.

The fight venue is Ryogoku Sumo Arena (Kokugikan).
