    President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. Dennis Kwakwa as the Executive Secretary to the Council of Indigenous Business Associations (CIBA). This appointment is a significant move to promote and support indigenous businesses in Ghana.

    Mr. Kwakwa’s appointment was made pursuant to Section 5 (1) of the Council of Indigenous Business Associations Act, 1993. This section empowers the President to appoint an Executive Secretary to oversee the activities of the Council.

    As the new Executive Secretary, Mr. Kwakwa will be responsible for managing and promoting indigenous businesses. He will work closely with stakeholders to create an enabling environment for indigenous businesses to thrive.

    Mr. Kwakwa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He previously served as a Manager at the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation and as the Ashanti Regional Director of Communications of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

    The appointment of Mr. Kwakwa is a positive move to support the growth and development of indigenous businesses in Ghana. His experience and expertise will be invaluable in promoting and supporting indigenous businesses.

    As the Executive Secretary, Mr. Kwakwa will play a crucial role in shaping the future of indigenous businesses in Ghana. His appointment is a testament to the government’s commitment to supporting and promoting indigenous businesses.
