The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has expressed optimism regarding Africa’s future under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.

In a post shared on his X page on Monday, February 17, 2025, he reflected on a recent gathering in Addis Ababa, where African political and business leaders came together to show their support for Mahama, welcoming his return to office.

“African political and business leaders meeting in Addis Ababa have been unanimous in publicly declaring, ‘President Mahama, we are happy to have you back,’” he stated.

Okudzeto Ablakwa emphasized the growing hope among African leaders that Mahama’s vision, leadership, and strategic approach will drive the positive change the continent needs.

“There is hope on the continent that President Mahama’s vision, dynamism, modesty, and strategic leadership will make the difference Africa needs. Great time to be a Ghanaian. The Black Star of Africa is soaring!” he noted.
