President John Dramani Mahama has reportedly requested the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to submit a comprehensive report detailing the current state of football in the country.

According to Angel FM report, the GFA are set to submit a detailed 75-page document, which will provide an in-depth examination of the challenges and opportunities facing Ghanaian football.

Although the details of the document have not yet been disclosed, the report is expected to cover various aspects of the sport, including infrastructure development, grassroots football, player development, and the financial management of the GFA.

The presidential request is seen as a significant step towards addressing the long-standing issues that have hindered the growth and development of Ghanaian football.

In recent years, the sport has faced numerous challenges, including corruption allegations, inadequate infrastructure, and a decline in the performance of the national teams and the Ghana Premier League.

The GFA have been working to revamp the sport and restore it to its former glory, but progress has been slow.

This report is expected to provide a roadmap for the development of Ghanaian football and help the GFA secure the necessary support and resources to drive growth and success.
