President John Dramani Mahama has received a customized set of golf clubs from organizers of the 2026 Head of State Invitational Golf Tournament as preparations intensify for the prestigious event scheduled for November 28, 2026.
The symbolic presentation was made during a courtesy call by officials of Head of State Golf Incorporated at the Presidency. The delegation was led by Francis Andoh and included planning committee members Nana Antwi Darkwah, Michael Aggrey, and Maud Akosiwa Agbolete.
During the meeting, organizers briefed the President on preparations for the tournament and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting golf tourism, diplomacy, and corporate networking through the competition.
President Mahama welcomed the initiative and praised organizers for sustaining a tournament that continues to attract international recognition while enhancing Ghana’s image globally. He also highlighted golf’s growing role in building relationships among diplomats, business executives, policymakers, and sports enthusiasts across the world.
