The Powerball jackpot will be a monster $80million for a lucky winner next week after no one snagged this week’s draw.

Thousands of Australians will have checked their tickets on Thursday night but sadly there were no winners of division one, meaning the prize rolls to next week.

The jackpot had hit $50million after there was no winner of the top segment for a month.

    The winning numbers for Powerball draw 1528 were: 33, 4, 14, 30, 1, 21 and 10. The Powerball number was 6.

To claim the division one prize, players needed to match all seven numbers plus the Powerball – a feat with odds of one in 134,490,400.

While there was no winner of the jackpot, other players walked away from the draw with life-changing money.

There were six division two winners who each received $139,000 after matching all seven numbers but not the Powerball.

The Lott also said it registered 109 winners who matched six numbers who walked away with $9513.45 each.

The Lott said the Powerball jackpot on September 4 (Draw 1529) will be a massive $80million if someone has the lucky ticket.

Meanwhile, the search continues for the mystery winner of the $100 million Powerball jackpot from June 12, who purchased their ticket in Bondi.

Under NSW rules, players have six years to claim their prize before it expires – but The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said that officials were desperate to reunite the winner with their windfall as soon as possible.

Bondi Junction Newsagency’s cashier Grace Martino told Daily Mail the winner could have been anyone bar the regulars, who have all been asking about the result.

‘People come through all the time. It could be somebody who passed by; it could be someone who’s a backpacker; it could be a tourist.’

She said lottery officials had the purchase details and were now matching CCTV footage from the store to the exact time the ticket was bought.

Mr Hart said the winner made a major mistake by not registering the ticket.

‘This is the very reason why we encourage everyone to register their entries to The Lott Members Club – we can reach out to you immediately if you win big.

Despite the ticket being sold 72 days ago, Lotto officials have still had no luck finding the winner – even with an investigation underway.
