The 30-year-old Tiktoker, David Afful, who describes himself as Kwame Nkrumah II, has been jailed for seven months for threatening to end the lives of President John Dramani Mahama and all government officials.

David Kwodow Prah Afful was seen in a viral video threatening to kill the President, Members of Parliament and other government officials if he had a gun or cutlass.

He appeared before an Accra Circuit Court, where he pleaded guilty to charges of threat of death and offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace.

He pleaded with government officials to forgive him for his behaviour.

Afful was arrested for issuing death threats and inciting violence during a TikTok livestream.

He was also reported to have threatened to burn marketplaces and encourage others to carry out similar acts.

The Police picked him up at his hideout near Kasoa Market around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
