Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has taken a jab at music producer MOG Beatz shortly after the producer publicly announced that their long-running copyright dispute had been finally resolved.

On December 11, 2025, MOG Beatz issued an official press release stating that the copyright infringement case involving himself and Shatta Wale had been settled.

In the statement, he expressed appreciation to his legal team and supporters, calling the resolution a milestone for creative rights protection.

But Shatta Wale responded with ridicule.

Reacting to MOG Beatz’s announcement on X, the dancehall star mocked the producer. Stating that had he (MOG Beatz) been patient, he would have purchased a house and a car for him.

“20k dollar and you go do press release … Poor man pikin!!! Like if u take ur time small I buy you house and G-Wagon. Enjoy ur $20k sha!!”

His comment has sparked fresh conversation online, with fans of both men debating whether Shatta Wale’s reaction was necessary following what appeared to be an amicable resolution from MOG Beatz.

The two have been at loggerheads for months over ownership and compensation issues related to songs MOG produced for Shatta Wale.

The dispute intensified after allegations that Shatta Wale had sold his music catalogue without compensating the producers involved.
