    Police are hunting for an 11-year-old boy after a woman was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.

    Officers said the incident happened on Tuesday December on High Street, Woodford, Northants between 12 and 12.30pm.

    The suspected, described as a ‘white boy’, aged 11 or 12, approached the woman and touched her inappropriately.

    He is said to have short, light brown hair and was wearing a black bomber jacket with blue jeans.

    He then walked away in the direction of Mill Road, officers added.

    Officers said the incident happened on Tuesday December on High Street, Woodford, North Northamptonshire between 12 and 12.30pm

    Police are now looking for anyone with information about this incident and the whereabouts of the teenager to get in touch, quoting the incident number 24000747520.

    A police spokesperson said: ‘Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in High Street, Woodford.

    ‘The incident happened on Tuesday, December 17, between 12pm and 12.30pm, when a boy approached a woman and touched her inappropriately.

    ‘The suspect is described as a white boy, aged 11-12, with short, light brown hair and wearing a black bomber jacket and blue jeans.

    ‘He walked away in the direction of Mill Road.

    ‘Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.

    ‘Please quote incident number 24000747520 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.’
