    MP for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful MP for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful

    The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into an incident in which a gang of about 15 men, invaded and vandalised the office and residence of the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful on Monday, December 9, 2024.

    Items taken include three motorbikes, one pickup vehicle and a 32-inch Samsung television set among others.

    Crime Scene Management team has visited the scene as part of the Police investigation into the incident.

    A statement issued by the Police Service said: “Currently, a targeted intelligence-led operation is ongoing to get the suspects arrested to face justice and we assure the public that we will get them.”

    “Meanwhile, the Police leadership is in contact with her and security at her office and residence has been beefed up to ensure her safety,” the statement concluded.
