    Media personality Toke Makinwa has reacted after several men flooded her work email with marriage proposals following a recent comment she made during an interview.

    Sharing on her Instagram story, Toke posted a screenshot of several messages she’s received from men professing their love and proposing marriage.

    Recall that Toke recently stated in an interview that if given the opportunity, she wouldn’t mind being a second, third, fourth, or fifth wife.

    In response to her comments, several men flocked to the email address linked to her social media accounts, sending messages to express their interest in her.

    Making light of the situation, Toke jokingly asked people to call their family members to order and tell them to stop messaging her.

    “Please tell your uncles to stop spamming my work emails… My entire team has access to it. Some Sunday humour.” She wrote

    Her response quickly gained traction online. While many found the situation hilarious, others called out the hypocrisy of those sliding into her inbox with romantic messages but openly criticizing her on social media.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Nobody dig gold pass men”

    “it’s the 23 years old guy for me”

    “The 50 year old guy with his bank account statement dey muzz me “

    “They bash her online and woo her offline they wish they can have her to themselves”
