    In a thrilling weekend of action in the Guinness Women’s Premier League, the excitement was palpable as teams battled for supremacy on the pitch.

    As the teams fought for points, some women stood out and were adjudged outstanding performers, labelled the Nasco Player of the Match, thus walking home with exciting products.

    SOUTHERN ZONE

    Mercy Attobra showcased her extraordinary talent, scoring a hat trick to lead Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies to a resounding 4-0 victory over Berry Ladies, earning her the prestigious Nasco Woman of the Match award.

    Epiphany Warriors FC celebrated a historic moment, clinching their first-ever Premier League win with a 2-0 triumph against Faith Ladies. Belinda Nyarko’s remarkable performance secured her the Nasco Woman of the Match accolade.

    Meanwhile, Police Ladies displayed their dominance with a commanding 4-0 win against Lady Strikers, where Victoria W. Teye’s exceptional play earned her the Nasco Woman of the Match honor.

    In a closely contested match, Army Ladies triumphed over Soccer Intellectuals with a 2-0 scoreline, thanks to Esther Yeboah, who shone brightly and took home the Nasco Woman of the Match award.

    Jojina Ladies edged past Hafixax Ladies with a narrow 1-0 victory, as Laudina Osei’s decisive goal earned her the title of Nasco Woman of the Match.

    NORTHERN ZONE

    Northern Ladies fought hard against FC Savanna, securing a 1-0 win, with Mohammed Wasiima’s brilliant performance earning her the Nasco Woman of the Match recognition.

    Kumasi Sports Academy showcased their prowess by defeating Shaun’s Supreme Ladies 3-1, with Barkisu Azaare’s standout performance earning her the Nasco Woman of the Match.

    Tamale Super Ladies faced a tough challenge against Dreamz Ladies, ultimately falling 3-0, and Sarah Nyarkoa’s efforts were rewarded with the Nasco Woman of the Match award for her team.

    Fosu Royal Ladies celebrated a solid 2-0 victory over Shung Shining Ladies, with Deborah Kuruwaa taking the Nasco Woman of the Match accolade for her impressive display.

    Lastly, Prisons Ladies battled Ampoh Darkoa Ladies but fell short with a 2-0 defeat, while Mary Amponsah’s remarkable performance earned her the Nasco Woman of the Match award.

    This weekend’s matches highlighted the incredible talent and determination of the players, making it a memorable chapter in the Guinness Women’s Premier League. Each Woman of the Match winner took home mouthwatering prizes: a Nasco blender and a stand Nasco stove.
