The Ghana Football Association has hosted the official launch of the World Cup Bonanza at its headquarters in Accra, bringing together leadership from the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and key partners to unveil a national raffle that will reward 220 Ghanaian football fans with trips to the 2026 World Cup.

Mr Kwabena Opoku-Boakye, Head of Marketing for the NLA outlined the mechanics of participation and nationwide engagement efforts assuring Ghanaians of a simple and accessible and impartial process.

Speaking on behalf of the Board Chairman of Rambell, Mr. Rockson Konde explained how fans can take part, stating: “Joining is straightforward. Dial *899*899#, follow the prompts and play. Every play increases your chances. It’s as simple as that. Play More, Win More.”

The initiative will select 220 winners through regulated draws, offering them the opportunity to join other Ghanaian supporters in cheering the national team live at the World Cup.

Officials pledged transparency and assured that the program is designed to reward dedicated fans while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

GFA President Mr. Kurt Okraku in his speech expressed appreciation to partners, emphasizing the significance of rewarding loyal football supporters. He noted that the Bonanza reflects the shared commitment to bringing fans closer to the national team and creating life-changing experiences for winners.

Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, Director-General of the NLA, reaffirmed the Authority’s role in ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the raffle. He highlighted the importance of proper oversight and assured the public of a credible and well-managed process.

The launch concluded with a call to all football lovers and Ghanaians across the country to get involved and be part of the journey.
