Music sensation King Paluta has disclosed that talks were on to feature legendary Daddy Lumba on the popularly hit single “For the Popping”.
According to King Paluta, he was saddened Daddy Lumba couldn’t record the song before his unfortunate demise back in July 2025, following a brief illness.
Responding to a social media post by a fan, who was fascinated about the possibility of Daddy Lumba on the remix of “For the Popping”, King Paluta explained that the move for the feature was being facilitated by Okyeame Kwame.
“Actually, conversations went on for this particular collaboration/ remix. Okyeame Kwame handled it. It is sad Daddy Lumba couldn’t record before he passed,” King Paluta wrote on X.
King Paluta is currently promoting his new single “Lavi da loca”, which is making waves and garnering impressive streaming numbers.
He was recently named Artiste of the Year (Male) at the seventh edition of the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA, which buttresses his growth in the music industry.
It has been a thrilling year for the multiple award-winning musician who continues to drop back-to-back hits, including “Foko”, “Thank You” and “Between Me and God”, among others.
