Sumio Yamada captured some great shots of the Dream Boxing card in Hamburg, Germany last night, including the score cards of the controversial Kuroki-Bormann WBA/WBO unification fight. The ring announcer didn’t read the split decision scorecards in such a way as to inform the audience as to which scores belonged to which fighter, and he initially botched the 96-95 score, reading it, “94-95.” That card from judge Jose Ignacio Martinez reflected a 10-10 score for the tenth and final round. Had he scored it 10-9 for Kuroki, the fight would’ve been a draw. Conversely, if he scored it 10-9 for Bormann, she still would’ve won the fight. Enjoy the gallery below!
