    GhanaWeb brings you a report of how the players invited for Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros performed for their respective clubs after the September 2025 international break.

    Goalkeepers

    In the Ghana Premier League, Benjamin Asare kept another clean sheet as Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Golden City Park.

    Lawrence Ati-Zigi made four saves, including a crucial penalty save as St. Gallen remain a point behind league leaders Thun in the Swiss Super League. St. Gallen defeated Young Boys 2-1.

    Joseph Anang also produced a man of the match performance in St. Patricks’ 1-0 win over Shamrock Rovers in the Irish League.

    Defenders

    In Ligue 1, Mohammed Salisu played 90 minutes in Monaco’s 1-1 draw against Angers while Alidu Seidu also enjoyed 90 minutes for Rennes in their 2-2 draw against Auxerre. Gideon Mensah played the entire duration of the game.

    In Ligue II, Ghanaian duo Ebenezer Annan and Augustine Boakye were involved in St. Etienne’s 3-2 defeat to Le Mans.

    Alexander Djiku was given a red card in Spartak Moscow’s stalemate against FC Rostov in Russia.

    In the Swiss Super League, Jonas Adjetey played 90 minutes for Basel in their 3-0 win over Winterthur.

    Jerome Opoku also played 90 minutes in Basaksehir’s 2-1 defeat to Galatasaray.

    Caleb Yirenkyi was involved in Nordsjaelland’s 1-0 win over Randers.

    Midfielders

    Elisha Owusu was a second half substitute in Auxerre’s 2-2 draw against Rennes.

    Prince Owusu was also involved in Medeama’s 1-1 home draw against FC Sarmatex in the Ghana Premier League.

    Kudus Mohammed played the entire duration of Tottenham Hotspurs’ defeat in the Premier League. Spurs lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa.

    In the La Liga, Kwasi Sibo was an unused substitute in Real Oviedo’s 2-0 defeat to Espanyol. Thomas Partey was not also used in Villarreal’s 2-2 draw against Real Betis.

    Forwards

    In the Premier League, Antoine Semenyo played 90 minutes for Bournemouth in their 3-3 draw against Crystal Palace.

    In the Championship, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku registered an assist for Leicester City in their 1-1 draw against Portsmouth. Jordan Ayew came on as a substitute to play 19 minutes.

    Brandon Thomas Asante scored for Coventry in their 2-0 win over Blackburn.

    Kamaldeen Sulemana saw 67 minutes of action for Atlanta against Lazi which ended in a draw.

    In the MLS, Joseph Paintsil scored for Los Angeles Galaxy in their 2-1 win over Minnesota United.
