Rapper, Medikal, has officially announced a new Public Relations (PR) team for his label, Beyond Kontrol (BYK), days after his misunderstanding with social media personality Highest Eri.

In a statement released on Friday, November 28, 2025, Beyond Kontrol introduced a three-member PR unit led by Yaw Boadu Ayeboafoh (NYB) as PR Manager.

He is joined by Pep Junia, who holds the role of an Artiste Liaison and Nana Yaa Tanoah Boakye as PR Assistant.

According to the release, all three members bring strong communication backgrounds to the label.

Mr Boadu-Ayeboafoh holds a Master’s Degree in Brands & Communication Management.

Pep Junia also holds a Master’s Degree in Communication & International Marketing.

Ms. Boakye has a Degree in Communication Studies.

Medikal’s team stated that the new PR team will help strengthen the label’s relationship with fans, the corporate world and stakeholders within the creative industry.

Beyond Kontrol, the independent label managing Medikal, highlighted its ongoing role in the rapper’s music promotion and business affairs.

Under BYK, Medikal recently released Disturbation 2.0, which the label notes is performing strongly on the market.

The label also confirmed that preparations are underway for the Beyond Kontrol Concert, scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The announcement comes at a time when Medikal’s PR operations have been under public analysis, following the viral exchange involving Highest Eri earlier this month.
