Renowned Ghanaian entrepreneur and artist D-Black has urged the youth to pursue their artistic or business ventures with passion.

He made this statement during an interview with GhanaWeb‘s Stella Dziedzorm at the 40th birthday celebration of serial investor Richard Nii-Armah Quaye on March 22, 2025.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, D-Black advised aspiring entrepreneurs to invest their time and resources only in ventures they are deeply passionate about.

“When making a decision about what business to invest in or dedicate your time to, I believe you should choose something you are truly passionate about—something that excites you, something that makes you eager to get up in the morning and work on it,” he said.

He emphasised that passion is the driving force behind long-term success, especially during challenging times.

“Passion for what you do is key to success. That’s the first thing—be passionate about it. So when things aren’t going well, your love for it will keep you going until it bears fruit,” D-Black added.

The birthday celebration, held in honor of business mogul Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, brought together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and celebrities.

Held at Independence Square in Accra, the event featured live performances from top Ghanaian and Nigerian artists, including Sarkodie, Davido, King Promise, Stonebwoy, and Efya, who kept the crowd entertained.
