    Several foreign-based Black Stars players have joined their teammates at the team hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, as preparations intensify for their 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic (CAR).

    Villarreal midfielder, Thomas Partey arrived in camp in high spirits, sharing moments with his teammates.

    Other players who arrived with him include Fenerbahçe defender Alexander Djiku, Stade Rennais’ Alidu Seidu, and Istanbul Basaksehir centre-back Jerome Opoku.

    Black Stars depart Casablanca for Meknes on October 7

    Players who had already reported to camp include Benjamin Asare, Prince Owusu, Elisha Owusu, Gideon Mensah, Kwasi Sibo, Joseph Annan, Kudus Mohammed, and Brandon Thomas-Asante.

    Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Kudus Mohammed, and captain Jordan Ayew also arrived on Monday, October 6, 2025.

    Thomas-Asante replaced Inaki Williams in the Black Stars squad for the World Cup qualifiers.

    The team held their first training session on Monday, October 6, 2025, to maintain fitness and shape after weekend club duties.

    The Black Stars were initially scheduled to play at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, but the match will now take place at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco.

    Kick-off is set for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 16:00 GMT.
