    The Appointments Committee of the Parliament of Ghana is vetting the first set of nominees for ministerial appointments by President John Dramani Mahama today, Monday, January 13, 2025.

    The first set of ministerial nominees are the Minister of Finance Designate, the Minister of Energy Designate, and the Attorney General and Minister of Justice Designate.

    The Majority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, was nominated by Mahama as the Minister of Finance Designate.

    The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu, John Abdulai Jinapor, was nominated as the Minister of Energy Designate, while the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East, Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, was nominated as the Attorney General and Minister for Justice Designate.
