The Parliament of Ghana has announced that in 11 days, it will host the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, for the presentation of the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA).

The highly anticipated address is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 27 February 2026, at the Chamber of Parliament, Parliament House, in Accra. The President is expected to outline the government’s performance, key achievements, and strategic plans for the year ahead.

The session will be broadcast live on the official Facebook page of Parliament of Ghana, allowing citizens across the country and beyond to follow proceedings in real time.

The address forms part of Parliament’s constitutional mandate and serves as a key moment in Ghana’s democratic calendar.
