The Oz Lotto jackpot has soared to new heights after Tuesday’s night $50million draw failed to go off.
Next week’s eye-watering $70million jackpot is the second biggest this year and fourth highest prize pool in Oz Lotto’s 31-year history.
There were no division one winners for a sixth consecutive week on Tuesday night.
The numbers for draw 1625 were 17, 44, 18, 30, 29, 21 and 24. The supplementary numbers were 9, 12 and 43.
One in five Aussie adults are expected to buy a ticket for next week’s draw, which has already topped every major jackpot in 2024.
No draw last year had a jackpot higher than $50million.
Common winning numbers are 47, 21, 28 and 33 but those drawn least included 34, 26, 45 and 43.

Oz Lotto’s draw 1625 failed to find a single division one winner on Tuesday night
Oz Lotto’s last division one winner was a Mackay man who took home the entire $15million on February 25.
The Northern Queenslander did not realise he had won until he received a call from The Lott officials.
‘Holy f***ing s***,’ he said over the phone.
‘I have to call my parents and partner immediately. My mum is really into lotteries, she won’t believe it.’
It comes after a Elizabeth Hills woman from south-west Sydney $100million jackpot weeks earlier.

Next week’s jackpot has skyrocketed to $70million
It’s been 12 years since the last $100 million Oz Lotto jackpot, which was shared by four division one entries across Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
So far there have been 316 division one winners in the current financial year.
In 2024, 17 Oz Lotto division one winners across Australia collectively won more than $295 million.
