In August 2024, he announced plans to deploy 50,000 CCTV cameras in Ghana’s biggest towns to improve security and battle crime. The proposed redevelopment of Kantamanto Market includes a multi-story complex that will accommodate all enterprises, with a focus on the original vendors who were harmed by the fire. To prevent future tragedies, the plan incorporates modern infrastructure such as fire safety systems, proper water supply, sanitation, and waste management systems. Furthermore, the use of green spaces and energy-efficient technologies is meant to promote sustainability while lowering operational expenses.
