During his United States visit, Otumfuo delivered a lecture at Howard University in Washington, D.C., focusing on governance, cultural preservation, traditional leadership and Ghana’s enduring relationship with the global African diaspora.

He also joined Asantes and other members of the African diaspora at Bowie State University in Maryland for a grand Akwasidae Kese celebration.

The Asantehene’s itinerary further included a high-level engagement with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., alongside other meetings and activities.
