Otto Addo has expressed heartfelt appreciation to staff and management of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital during a visit to the facility on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The Black Stars head coach, accompanied by members of the national team’s technical staff, commended the hospital for its commitment to quality healthcare despite financial and logistical challenges. He praised health workers for their dedication, particularly in caring for vulnerable patients who struggle to afford medical services.

Addo assured the hospital of continued support, stressing that the visit was not a one-off gesture but part of efforts to find sustainable ways of assisting the institution. He also called on corporate bodies and the general public to recognize the hospital’s work and contribute towards addressing its pressing needs.

According to Addo, healthcare professionals carry enormous responsibility and deserve national recognition for their sacrifices. The visit, which also involved Kurt Okraku, highlighted the importance of community backing in strengthening Ghana’s healthcare system.
