The Black Stars of Ghana will face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium in a crucial battle for qualification for the 2026 World Cup on Friday, March 21, 2025

With the critical game on the horizon, under-fire Black Stars coach Otto Addo isn’t just bringing tactics; he’s bringing glamour too.

In a post made on the official Facebook page of the team, Addo is seen sporting a Ghana FA-branded jacket and a bold, eye-catching tie, striking a perfect balance between focus and flair.

Although he is under immense pressure to deliver, his composed demeanour suggests he’s ready for the challenge and determined to bring smiles back to the faces of Ghanaians.

Anything less than a win against Chad could jeopardize the Black Stars‘ chances of qualifying for the Mundial, but Addo remains confident in his side’s ability to secure all three points.

During the pre-match press conference on Thursday, March 20, 2025, he said that the frequent interactions between the players, Winfred Schafer, and Black Stars psychologist Kris Perquy will help to keep the team focused on the pitch.

Following Madagascar’s victory over the Central African Republic on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and Mali’s victory over Comoros on Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Black Stars currently sit second with nine points. A win against Chad will see them go top.

Meanwhile, watch the latest edition of Sports Debate as some Ghanaians predict a win for Black Stars against Chad
