    A popular Twi news anchor with Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM, Nana Akwasi Owusu Achiaw, has reportedly passed away.

    According to information, the respected broadcaster died in the early hours of Friday after suddenly falling ill.

    Sources say Nana Akwasi Owusu Achiaw complained of discomfort on Thursday after eating and drinking with colleagues, and his condition worsened overnight.

    He was rushed to the hospital around 6:45 a.m., but was pronounced dead shortly after being admitted.

    Details surrounding the exact cause of death are yet to be officially confirmed.
