Osman Ayariga has officially assumed his role as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority (NYA), following his appointment by President John Dramani Mahama.

He began his tenure on Wednesday, January 29, with a strong commitment to serving the youth of the nation.

During a brief ceremony to mark his assumption of duty, Ayariga emphasised his dedication to the NYA’s mission, promising to work relentlessly to improve the lives of young Ghanaians.

“My priority is to address the needs of Ghanaian youth through policies,” he declared.

“I am here to serve. My focus will be on ensuring that the aspirations of Ghanaian youth are met through initiatives that promote growth, skill development, and job opportunities,” he added.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures such as the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Ernest Adomako, signaling widespread support and high expectations for Ayariga’s tenure at the NYA.

Ayariga expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him and committed to collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver meaningful results for Ghana’s youth.
