Osagyefo hosts concert on November 9, 2024.
Osagyefo, the Simple Entertainer, a renowned Ghanaian reggae musician, is set to celebrate his birthday with a vibrant live band reggae concert on Saturday, November 9. The concert is set for the Gold Coast Restaurant and Cocktail Bar from 8 pm to midnight.
This event promises to be a night filled with a diverse variety of reggae and dance music, featuring an impressive lineup of artistes including 2009 TGMA Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Chizzy Wailer; Ras Boomba, veteran Fred Kente of Kente fame; the versatile Kojo Kombolo, Dancehall Queen Aklerh; 2022 TGMA Nominee, Konkarah Jahvybz; and Nana Ntow the Bombadier.
The event will also see notable personalities from the Ghana reggae scene, such as Daddy Bosco, Black Santino, and Star Brown from African Star Sound System, attending as special guests.
The concert will be hosted by the award-winning presenter, King Lagazee of Yaad Settingz on Asaase Radio and Lion Judah.
In a gesture of appreciation for his fans, Osagyefo says the entrance to the concert is free, inviting everyone to join in the festivities.
He expressed his excitement about the upcoming celebration saying, “I am thrilled to celebrate another year of life surrounded by my friends and fans. This concert is not just a birthday party; it’s a celebration of reggae music and our culture. I can’t wait to share this special night with everyone!”
Daddy Bosco, Director for Special Projects and Communications with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) also shared his thoughts on Osagyefo’s contributions to the music scene.
“Osagyefo is a beacon of reggae and dancehall in Ghana. His commitment to promoting our music through shows like this one is commendable. He doesn’t only showcase talent at his shows but also inspires the next generation of artistes,” Bosco said.
All roads definitely lead to the Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant for a memorable event that will showcase Osagyefo’s fine art dedication to reggae and dancehall music.
