A scene from a Nigerian movie has sparked conversation online as an actress wore a sculpted QUEEN headpiece instead of a traditional crown.

The video recorded by viewer @__callmetony captured a scene from the Nigerian epic movie, featuring an actress who played the role of a queen.

The actress’s unconventional royal identification was attention-seeking as she donned a headpiece, which was a creative crown-like hairstyle that spells out the word “QUEEN” using what appears to be black wool or thread, likely wrapped and shaped with wire for structure and stability.

@__callmetony pleaded with Nigerian filmmakers, suggesting that the production team should have purchased a royal crown instead of spelling the word and degrading the movie in the name of creativity.

The video has generated differing reactions with netizens opining that Nigerians wouldn’t criticize the make-up if it were a foreign movie.

While some viewers jokingly compared the actress’s appearance to Queen Charlotte from a popular foreign movie, others commented that the queen’s lettering design was for viewers to identify easily the actress playing the queen’s role in the movie
