Kweku Smoke has fully funded GH¢66,000 surgery for KNUST student

Ghanaian rapper, Paul Amankwah, popularly known as Kweku Smoke, has attracted widespread admiration on social media through a kind gesture.

This was after the rapper fully funded the fee for a spinal surgery for Osman Awudu Abu, a final-year Bachelor of Arts History student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

After pledging to fully pay GH¢66,000 to cover the urgent surgery.

Reginald Jojo Gwira, an Engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology took to his Twitter page to ask for help for Osman Awudu Abu.

Kweku Smoke replied under his post and said he’ll pay for it.

It all started after he pledged to pay GH¢66,000 to cover the urgent surgery, which he eventually fulfilled.

The ‘Violence’ hitmaker’s kind gesture has brought hope and relief to Osman, according to blogger, KNUST Konkonsa.

Medical professionals are now able to proceed with the surgery.

Kweku Smoke’s generosity has gone viral, with many praising him for his intervention that has brought some gleamer of hope to the KNUST student.
