Social media has revealed details of the one-week celebration of Akua Donkor, marking the beginning of the last ceremonies for the late Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) flagbearer. The one-week period for Akua Donkor is set for Thursday, November 14, 2024. It is anticipated to take place from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ejuratia Funeral Ground.
At the age of 83, Akua Donkor passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was taken to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge) after apparently being ill in the previous days and visiting Nsawam Government Hospital. She tragically passed away at Ridge. Many speculate that she might not have made it because of the hours she spent in an ambulance.
