A fatal accident occurred yesterday on the Accra-Kumasi highway involving a VIP bus and a Toyota Venza. The crash resulted in one confirmed death and multiple injuries. Emergency responders rushed to the scene to assist victims and manage traffic disruptions. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision, which adds to growing concerns over road safety on Ghana’s major highways.

The Accra-Kumasi route is one of Ghana’s busiest and most accident-prone highways, often due to speeding, overtaking errors, or mechanical failures. This incident underscores recurring road safety challenges in the country.
