    Undefeated WBC Continental Americas featherweight champion Omar Trinidad, (18-0-1, 12 KOs) of Boyle Heights, California won a hard fought unanimous decision over ‘Magic’ Mike Plania, (31-5, 18 KOs), of the Philippines Friday night at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California in headlining the 360 Promotions Hollywood Fight Nights series on UFC Fight Pass.

    The IBF #2 rated and WBC #6 rated Trinidad made the third successful defense of his regional title. Trinidad was off to a slow start in the opening round using the lazy jab as Plania stood in the pocket. Taking his time in the pocket and measuring, Trinidad continued to use the jab as he stuck Plania and neutralized the Filipino. Trinidad momentarily staggered Plania in the third but the undefeated fighter kept his poise and continued to box with the jab.

    In the fifth, Trinidad kept his distance and circled Plania, shooting the jab and following up with the straight right. Boxing effectively and past the halfway point in the sixth, Trinidad shot a left hook to the body to begin the round as he continued to outwork Plana. The jab was the key through six rounds as the fight headed to the seventh round, Trinidad kept busy staying on top and outlanding Plania. The Filipino proved to be durable as Trinidad continued to press and go forward behind the jab, it appeared that the knockout was out of the question. Late in the fight, it was all Trinidad as the local fighter stood busy mixing it up in route to the victory and taking Plania the distance

    The judges scored the bout 100-90, 100-90, and 99-91.

    WBO female super flyweight world champion Mizuki Hiruta, (7-0, 2 KOs) of Japan made her U.S. debut in winning an eight round technical decision over Mexican veteran Maribel ‘Pantera’ Ramirez, (15-11-4, 3 KOs) of Mexico City in eight rounds in the co-feature bout of the evening.

    Mizuki impressed in her American debut as she successfully defended her title for the third time.Hiruta dropped Ramirez in the closing seconds of round two. The champion was precise with her attack as Hiruta landed a solid straight left in the fourth, opening a cut on Ramirez eye.

    Relentelessly attacking throughout the fight, the Japanese superstar was overwhelming as Ramirez’s face was busted up past the halfway mark. Late in the fight in the eighth, Ramirez succumed to Hiruta’s constant attack, an accidental clash of heads did it as referee Ray Corona stop the fight due to a cut forcing the fight to go to the scorecards.

    After completing most of eight rounds the judges scored the bout 80-71, 80-71, and 79-72.

    Kazakh super middleweight Ali Akhmedov, (23-1, 17 KOs) stopped Malcolm Jones, (17-5-1, 10 KOs), of Indianapolis in the second round. Akhmedov’s offense was precise and on point as he pinned Jones up against the ropes and did not respond the attack as the referee Thomas Taylor stepped in to stop the fight at 1:17.

    East L.A.’s super featherweight ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzo, (3-0, 1 KO) stopped Lindsey Ellis, (2-2, 2 KOs) of Tennessee in the third round. Verduzco got down to business as she busted up Ellis early in the opening round, as Ellis began to bleed from her nose. Roxy pressed in the second round as she kept backing Ellis who continued to bleed from her nose, later in the round Verduzco and Ellis briefly exchanged. Right Hook Roxy continued to attack as Ellis kept bleeding profusely from the nose, referee Rya Corona stepped in to stop the fight at 1:34 of the third.

    San Diego’s undefeated super bantamweight Adan Palma, (11-0, 6 KOs) won a split decision over a very slick Sharone ‘Smoke’ Carter, (14-9-1, 3 KOs), of St. Louis in going the distance six rounds.

    Carter was off to a flashy start pumping the jab in the opening round as Palma started slow behind the jab and appeared to be adjusting to Carter’s flash. Palma found his rythm after two rounds as he backed Carter to the ropes in round three finding his groove.

    Continuning where he left off, Palma kept pressing in the fourth round as Carter was on his backfoot countering and keeping away. In the fifth, Palma pressed continuing to stay on top of Carter neutralizing his flash. It was all Palma in the sixth and final round backing Carter with a jab and finishing strong to top off the decision victory.

    After six rounds the judges scored the fight 59-55 for Palma, 58-56 for Carter, and 58-56 for Palma.

    Junior flyweight Gloria Munguilla, (7-1) of Los Angeles won a hard fought unanimous decision over a very tought Brook Sibrian, (5-2) of Coachella in opening the UFC Fight Pass livestream. Exchanging in the center from the opening bell, Munguilla and Sibrian fought in a phone booth early on. Munguilla was aggressive and pressed Sibiran in the third round. In the fourth, Munguilla was relentless and continued her offensive attack as Sibrian held her own standing and trading.

    Sibrian was precise with her punches for the first half of the fight but Munguilla’s all out aggression kept Sibrian on the go moving in the fifth, Munguilla appeared to go down but from a slip in the final seconds of the round. There was no stopping Munguilla’s offense in round six as she kept coming after Sibrian fighting mostly off her back foot. Late in the fight in the seventh Sibrian and Munguilla met and traded in the center as Munguilla got the better of the exchange but there was no backing down from Sibrian as she connected after the bell in the process. Drawing a warning from the referee Thomas Taylor. The eighth and final round it was an all out slugfest as Munguilla and Sibrian traded away to the final bell.

    After completing eight rounds the judges scored the bout 79-73, 77-75, and 77-75 as Munguilla takes the unanimous decision.

    Super welterweight Joshua Anton, (9-0, 8 KOs), of Palmdale made his Hollywood Fight Nights debut winning a unanimous decision over Cameron Krael, (21-34-3, 7 KOs), of Las Vegas. The tall southpaw Anton displayed shades of current super welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora mixing it up boxing away and fighting inside. Anton was busy as he connected precisely throughout the fight outworking Krael as Krael displayed toughness in going the distance six rounds. All three judges scored the bout 60-54.

    Alexander ‘The Alley Cat’ Gueche, (7-0, 5 KOs), of Long Beach, California won a sweeping unanimous decision over Lito Dante, (21-14-4, 12 KOs), of the Philippines in a super flyweight six rounder. Dante was down early in the first round, the Filipino continued to fight as Gueche attacked patiently backing Dante with pressure. Gueche was patient as he boxed and picked his shots, tagging Dante throughtout the fight and scoring another knockdown in the fifth, dominating his way to a unanimous decision victory as all three judges scored the fight 60-52.

    In the opening bout from the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California, undefeated Tayden ‘The Butcher’ Beltran, (10-0-1, 5 KOs), of Huntington Beach stopped Eugene Lagos, (16-9-3, 11 KOs). Beltran battered Lagos for three full rounds for the entirity of the fight. Lagos could not continue as the referee stopped the fight at the end of the third prior to start of the fourth.
