Olivia Dunne made the short trip from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras in style.
The LSU gymnast was given the honor of being named Grand Marshall for the 2025 Krewe of Endymion parade through the Big Easy on Saturday.
Endymion is one of the biggest parades to roll through New Orleans on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday, setting the carnival city alight with its upwards of 3,000 riders.
And Dunne did not disappoint in her roll. The social media sensation wowed her 5.3 million Instagram followers as she shared a glimpse at her ‘fit’ for the occasion.
The gymnast, who returned for a fifth year of eligibility with the Tigers in the fall, struck a striking figure in an emerald green mermaid gown complete with a flowing cape of applique roses.
Dunne later shared a video of herself atop one of the floats throwing out traditional beads to the crowds gathered along the parade route through the Crescent City.

Named for the Greek god of fertility and eternal youth, Endymion is the largest krewe in Mardi Gras history and was founded in 1967.
Dunne joins a long list of celebrity parade royalty with the likes of Dolly Parton and the Beach Boys previously serving as Grand Marshalls.
Dunne has missed the last four of LSU’s meets through a knee injury but showed up at their Mardi Gras meet Friday.
She and her Tigers teammates honored fellow LSU athlete Dillon Reidenauer at the Podium Challenge against George Washington University at the Raising Canes River Center in Baton Rouge.
Reidenauer, a star pole vaulter for the LSU Tigers, was killed in a car accident this week at the age of 18.
According to local reports, Reidenauer was in a car that was struck by a motorcyclist in Baton Rouge at 9pm on Wednesday night. The motorcyclist also died, with both vehicles reportedly going up in flames.
The No. 2 LSU Tigers wore black ribbons of mourning in their hair for the meet in honor of Reidenauer.
Dunne, who returned to Baton Rouge in the fall for her fifth year of eligibility, shared a photo of herself and teammate Alyona Schennikova showing the black silk and organza strips tied around their blonde ponytails.
