The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect, Kwesi Bik Nelson in connection with an attempted murder case following a stabbing incident that occurred on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Mangol, a village near Yunyoo in the North East Region.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect, Kwesi Bik Nelson stabbed the victim with a dagger, inflicting severe injuries to the head and stomach during a confrontation between the two.
The victim was sent to the Baptist Medical Centre (BMC) in Nalerigu where he is receiving medical attention.
The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting investigation and will be put before court.
