As netizens continue to process the tragic death of Ghanaian Immigration Service officer Steffen King Amoah, popularly known as Nana Kofi, an old video of him performing La Même Gang’s song Godzilla has resurfaced online.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb on July 11, 2025, Nana Kofi was seen delivering an energetic live band performance with the Nkyinkyim Band.
He passionately rapped along to a beat from La Même Gang’s ‘Godzilla’, captivating the crowd, who cheered in response to his talent.
Nana Kofi was reported missing on July 4, 2025, after leaving his residence in Ashongman Estate to meet a man identified as Bright over an alleged GH¢200,000 debt.
Tragically, his burnt body was discovered five days later in a gutter near the GBC Satellite station in Accra.
The Ghana Police Service has since arrested the prime suspect, Aweh Bright, who is currently under investigation.
The Accra Regional Police Command has vowed to uncover the full details behind the officer’s gruesome murder.
The resurfaced video has since reignited public outrage, with many expressing shock and grief online. Some citizens have accused Bright of betraying a friend and luring Nana Kofi to his death.
Police have also urged the public to come forward with any information that may aid in bringing all those involved to justice.
