An old video of Ghanaian rapper, Edem has resurfaced online following his recent encounter with his embattled colleague, rapper Agbeko.

One may recall that on November 17, 2025, Edem shared a post on X in which he disclosed that attempts to get Agbeko, who has been battling drug addiction, into a psychiatric facility for rehabilitation were unsuccessful because he refused to enter the program.

In a new development, the resurfaced video has stirred mixed reactions online, as Edem was seen stating that he would not offer any assistance to Agbeko, even in his time of need.

“I mean, I have had some reservations with somebody like Agbeko in the past, and he’s never going to be my friend for the rest of my life, and if I catch him dying, I will not save him,” he said.

Edem further reiterated in the video that their friendship had gone beyond repair, and it wasn’t only about music.

“I try to stay away, because if you and I cross that path, I will never like you. I won’t be your friend; it won’t be about just music,” he added.
