An old video of renowned marriage counselor and motivational speaker Rev. Charlotte Oduro has resurfaced online today, February 10, 2025, amidst the trending news of her divorce from Apostle Solomon Oduro.

In the video, which is now going viral, Rev. Charlotte passionately debunked claims that she ever requested a divorce during her marriage.

She admitted that despite being perceived as “stubborn” by her husband, she was only vocal and honest about her views, a trait she believed made his husband misunderstood her sometimes as disrespectful.

“I never asked for a divorce, not even once. I was labeled stubborn simply because I spoke my mind. But that never made me disrespectful. I believed that communication was key in marriage, even when my opinions were strong,” Rev. Charlotte stated in an old interview with Abeiku Santana.

The resurfacing of this video comes just hours after Apostle Solomon Oduro officially announced their divorce, citing irreconcilable differences after being separated for three years.

The news shocked many, considering Rev. Charlotte’s prominent stance on the importance of forgiveness, patience, and godly principles in marriage.

Social media users have since been sharing mixed reactions. Some have praised her authenticity and resilience, while others questioned the challenges even spiritual leaders face in maintaining their marriages.
