Following controversies over who should be the rightful child to succeed the late Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka after his demise a few weeks ago, a new video about one of his sons has emerged online.
In the video shared on Instagram on October 9, 2025, the late Safo Kantanka was seen saying that his son, Nana Safo Kantanka, should be his heir if he passes on.
In the video, the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka explained that Nana Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the second son and fifth born of the late inventor, is a visionary individual who would be able to manage his empire.

“If Ghanaians understand how things work, everyone in the country would equally understand me. That is why I am grooming Kwadwo, who will also groom his children.
“So if I am not there, my business will be there. And if he is no more, his children would take over,” he said.
When quizzed on what contributed to his decision to make Nana Kwadwo Safo the successor to his empire, the cleric noted he knew the future of his son right from his mother’s womb.
“I know no human being can stay on this earth forever, so I dreamt and I saw a bird that can do a 360-degree head rotation. So immediately he was born, I saw that he was the one.
“I knew he deserved it, that is why I gave (business) to him, because I know he would do it very well,” he added.
Meanwhile, the family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka has issued a disclaimer cautioning the general public against conducting any business transactions or funeral-related engagements with Israel Kwadwo Safo, former CEO of the Kantanka Group of Companies.

According to the family, all matters relating to the businesses, properties, and funeral arrangements of the late Apostle should be directed strictly through the appropriate family representatives and authorised committees.
The family has therefore warned that any person who chooses to deal with him does so at their own risk.
