According to him, a look at the artiste’s work discloses a level of thoughtfulness and maturity that is uncommon among many young people in Ghana.

Assafuah disclosed that his favourite track from Black Sherif is ‘Top of the Morning’ from the Iron Boy album.

He urged young people in Ghana to pay attention to the themes Black Sherif explores, as there are lessons to be learnt from his lyrics.

The MP further noted that the country should rally behind Blacko and provide him with the necessary support to continue lifting the flag of Ghana high.

“When you take time to listen to his lyrics, you realise that he’s speaking about life. Considering how young he is, very young gentleman, but writes so deeply and that’s how come I love him.

“My favourite about all his music or if you like his album is the Top of the Morning. I love him and he’s lovely. When you have an opportunity to meet him, you will be surprised the kind of things that he will say and I am saying so because I know he’s young.

“There are a lot of young men in this country who may not be able to espouse the kind of knowledge that he espouses, let alone to put it to music. Young people have a lot to learn from him and I learn from him, a style. Now, he’s putting Ghana on the map too. He needs every support,” he said.
