Okwawu United have taken a bold step toward strengthening player welfare and community engagement after sealing a GH₵3 million partnership deal with Kenop Care Hospital as the club’s new official medical partner.

The deal also becomes a record deal ever in Ghana’s Division One League.

The two-year deal, which includes an option for an additional year, marks a major investment in the health and performance of the “Asase Aban” side, both on and off the pitch.

Under the agreement, Kenop Care Hospital will cater for all medical needs of Okwahu United’s management, technical team, and playing body, ensuring a 24-hour professional care for the club’s staff throughout the season.

In a special gesture to the supporters, the partnership also extends to the fanbase, card-bearing and registered Okwahu United supporters will enjoy a 20% discount when visiting Kenop Care Hospital facilities across the country.

The hospital has also committed to providing periodic financial support to the club as part of its wider corporate social responsibility initiative.

The move underscores Okwawu United’s renewed commitment to professionalism and community-centered growth as they continue rebuilding their structures on and off the field.
