Nurudeen Amadu has parted ways with defending Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex as the head coach of the club.
The veteran Ghanaian trainer, who joined the side in July 2023 left the club on mutual grounds after 13 matches into the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Having guided the side to annex the 2023/24 Premier League title, the Timber Giants have been poor.
They have recorded three consecutive defeats in the top-flight and also out of the MTN FA Cup after a 2-0 defeat to rivals Bibiani GoldStars SC.
In their maiden CAF Champions League participation, FC Samartex suffered elimination in the preliminary round against Raja Casablanca.
Assistant coach Henry Wellington will take charge temporarily until a substantive appointment is made.
FC Samartex, who sit 10th on the league log with 17 points will make a trip to face Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the Matchday 14 games this weekend.
