A Nigerian nurse has turned heads as she recreated an impressive picture taken by her mother, also a nurse, 20 years ago, in the same spot at the same hospital.

The nurse @oghenemine_favour took to TikTok to share how her mother’s perseverance and love for her career inspired her to work tirelessly.

The nurse’s reaction to her mother’s photo was a stunning tribute, bridging generations and highlighting their similar passion for nursing.

    She wrote,

    “Legacy in the making!
Throwback to my amazing mum during her clinical posting days 20years ago and now I’m here following in her footsteps.
Mum, your perseverance and passion for nursing motivated me to work hard and never give up. I’m so grateful for your influence”.

Online users have expressed their disapproval of the hospital’s signage, pointing out how outdated it looks and accusing the administration of keeping it up for more than 20 years.

    Below are some reactions,

@justme_chioma_ Imagine a facility of 20 years back looking better than the present one. Nigeria, una shame dey catch me

@LIGHTNING  So they have not changed that signpost for 20 years. Nigeria we hail thee!!! Congratulations!!!

@Miss Judith I saw you take this picture yesterday.. she was so excited taking the pics it is I keep pushing dear

@firstladysarah_ Because of this post now they will change the signboard or repaint its just watch😂

@popeadah11 Same signboard, no maintenance, no upgrade & I’m very sure each successive MD has been collecting money from government for maintenance. The corruption in Nigeria is deep rooted.
